Wir sind zwei Rhodesian Ridgebacks und heissen Kianga und Scooby Doo. Wir wohnen in Jona in der Schweiz.

Ich, Kianga bin 2005 in Parma geboren. Weil ich einen verkürzten Schwanz habe (ein Geburtsfehler) haben mich Suzan & Thomas ausgewählt. Wenn dieser Geburtsfehler nicht wäre, dann wäre ich sicherlich ein Champion - wie meine Eltern in Parma...  Ich bin sehr temperamentvoll und habe eine nimmer-endende Energie. Und ganz typisch Ridgback habe ich schon ein etwas eigenwilliges Köpfchen. Aber Abends auf dem Sofa gibt es nichts schöneres als mit Suzan & Thomas zu schmusen.

I, Kianga, was born 2005 in Parma. Suzan & Thomas picked me because I have short tail, which is a birth defect. If it wasn't for my short tail, I'd probably be a champion, just like my parents in Parma. I'm very lively and have a mind of my own (typically Ridgeback), but at the end of every day I love to cuddle-up with Suzan & Thomas on the sofa.

Und ich, Scooby Doo, bin 2002 geboren komme aus dem Schwarzwald. Ich war bis 4 Jahre alt bei Conny, die mich super erzogen hat. Ich kann in der Hundeschule drum auch schon alles! Ich bin seit Sommer 2006 bei Suzan & Thomas, weil Conny aus beruflichen Gründen nicht mehr viel Zeit für mich hatte. Suzan & Thomas haben mich auf www.ridgeback-in-not.de gesehen und wollten mich dann unbedingt haben (ist ja klar!) Jetzt bin ich in der Schweiz und versuche "Schwiizerdütsch" zu lernen!

And I, Scooby Doo, was born in 2002 and I'm originally from the Black Forrest in Germany. I spent my first 4 years with Conny, who gave me a superb education! That's why I'm so good at dog-school. Since August 2006 I'm with  Suzan & Thomas, because Conny will not be able to spend much time with me due to her busy job and education. Suzan & Thomas saw me on the website www.ridgeback-in-not.de and immediately wanted to adopt me (who wouldn't...)! Well, I'm in Switzerland now and I'm learning Swiss-German!
